Chris Wagstaff
Chris has been working in the fitness industry for over 5 years. Chris grew up in Whangarei and began training in gymnastics for four years during high school, after which he joined the NZ Army for another four years.
Bio
Chris has been working in the fitness industry for over 5 years. Chris grew up in Whangarei and began training in gymnastics for four years during high school, after which he joined the NZ Army for another four years. During this time, he was deployed overseas to East Timor for 6 months where he became an advocate of CrossFit and trained almost every day while completing a physical training instructor course in the army.
In 2012 he left for civilian life taking boot camps in Auckland through Boot-It and finally settling at CrossFit Daedalus as Coach and Olympic LIfting specialist. Chris also has in-depth knowledge in Olympic weightlifting, spending 3 months training with 2014 Commonwealth Gold Medallist Richie Patterson. Chris’s Formal education includes NZ ARMY, NZIHF , CrossFit L1 and is currently studying at Auckland University.
